A Stillness Unfolds

A stillness unfolds as soft as sunny winter forests.
How did my desire become known and my path
humble?
I bore in my hand an etched bowl of chinking glass.

Then my foot became so cautious and shall not stumble.
Then my hand became so careful and shall not tremble.
Then I became abound and carried off with the strength
from fragile things.
